Better Late Than Never

So, I’m finally getting around to posting some Christmas cards that I made.  I took the pictures with my iPhone so they may not be the best quality.

I got the idea for the reindeer card from Nichol Magouirk. Mine is slightly different, but I loved her version so much that I did not deviate that much from it.  The reindeer was downloaded from the Silhouette online store.

These next three cards are using designs from Kerri Bradford Designs. I love her stuff!! I will soon be buying more designs from her.

This last card is using a design that I downloaded from the Silhouette online store.  I thought the little snowman was so cute!!

I am hoping that I can eventually get InLinkz setup so that I can start linking all the products that I use.  Let’s just suffice it to say that my Cameo got a great workout making these cards, and I have been using it all the time!!  It is one of the best investments I have ever made when it comes to scrapbooking/cardmaking.

Well, thanks for looking!  I hope to be more active on my blog this year and post more projects.  Yes, I said the same thing last year and it didn’t happen, but I am really trying to make it happen this year.  What can I say…life is busy!!!

Update: I got InLinkz setup tonight!!!  Yahoo!

Feeding My Paper Addiction

Well, I've already admitted that I have a paper addiction!  That's no secret and I'm definitely not in denial!  Do you think they have support groups for this?  LOL!! :)  No doubt, if they did, I would have many fellow paper addicts joining me.  At least it's not an unhealthy addiction!

I have had a decently productive weekend so far!  I started off by going to my LSS on Friday to look for new goodies.  To be more specific, I really went there to get the Echo Park "Everybody Loves Christmas" collection.  They had not even put it out on the shelves yet, but I was still able to get it!!  Score!  I also bought some extra sheets of certain other Echo Park collections that I already have.  Today, I busted out my i-Rock and put some bling on a Halloween layout from 2009.  I also added the journaling and then put it in an album.  One layout down....a zillion more to go.  I will never get caught up, but it felt good to actually FINISH a layout.  I have so many right now that need journaling or something else before I can really say they are complete.  Oh well!!  Such is life!  They will get finished when they get finished!  Right?

Well, enjoy the rest of the weekend!  I don't know if you have great weather right now where you are, but our weather is actually kind of enjoyable right now so I'm loving it!

Crazy Days!

Well, it has been forever since I've last blogged.  I have been so busy.  My daughter graduated from preschool, went to numerous camps over the summer and started "real" school at the "big" school.  She is now in kindergarten and is enjoying school.  She has made many new friends there and is being introduced to all kinds of new things.  She also started dance lessons at a studio close to us.

As far as scrapping goes, I haven't done much of that in the past few months!!  I've been supporting my habit of paper addiction, though, and have been buying paper up like it's going extinct!!  Just because a girl hasn't had time to scrap doesn't mean that she doesn't still buy the paper!  You never know when you will have that perfect picture and will need the perfect paper to go with it!!  You all know what I'm talking about!!  Three of my favorite paper manufacturers right now are Crate Paper, Echo Park, and My Little Shoebox.  One crafty thing that I have been doing lately is making hair bows for my daughter.  I was tired of spending tons of money on bows, so I asked a friend of mine to show me how to make them.  It really is pretty easy!  I have made quite a few for my daughter already.

Anyway, that's what I've been up to the past few months.  Hopefully I'll be able to get my scrap on soon because I've definitely got tons of gorgeous paper to use!!

Have a great day!
