Goodbye 2009!!!

Well, in a little over an hour it will be time to say goodbye to 2009.  It has been a busy but good year.  I had originally set goals to scrap a zillion layouts (LOL) -- well, maybe not that many but I did hope to accomplish more than I did.  I had also planned to run a few races which did not happen.  I am planning to do more of both of these things in 2010, but I'm also not going to stress about it if it doesn't happen as planned!!!  The most important thing is spending time with family because without them nothing matters!  So, here's to a great 2010!!!  Have a safe and happy new year!!

Just Singin' in the Rain!

So my daughter got a rain jacket and umbrella from one of her best friends for her birthday. She has been waiting for a few weeks for her chance to wear it. Well, she got her chance this past weekend! We told her that if there was no lightning that she could put her rain gear on and go outside. It just so happened that it was just a downpour with no lightning, so she threw on her gear and played some in the rain. My hubby got this adorable picture of her! It will be going in the scrapbook soon for sure!

BoBunny "Orange" Contest

A fun weekend in the pool inspired this layout! The orange in my daughter's hat and float matched the BoBunny Popsicle papers perfectly! Love this collection and can't wait to do more with it!!! On this layout, I cut around some of the waves in the water, pop dotted them, and then stickled them. I also stickled the sun on the journaling card. Lastly, I added some of the rub-ons, orange jeweled brads, and orange ribbon.

BoBunny Blinkies!!

I was so excited today when I went to the BoBunny blog. They now have blinkies since they are celebrating their anniversary! They are so cute! I loved all of them, but in the end, decided on the Mango Luau one. BoBunny is one of my favorites! I don't think there has been a single release they've done that I haven't fallen in love with. Right now, I find myself in love with the Popsicle line the most. It is so bright and I think I'm going to be doing a layout or two tomorrow night using some of these papers. I have some great pool pictures from the 4th of July that are just screaming for Popsicle!!!

My First Post

So, I finally took the plunge and created my blog. I figured it was about time! I hope to eventually post some of my scrapbook layouts here. We'll see how it goes!!!
